Penelope Hawkins

A professionally qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist with a broad experience of working with adults and children with a wide variety of emotional difficulties and habit breaking issues.

Trained with the Clinical Hypnosis Institute based in Kent, Penny gained her Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching in 2002. She has been involved in Complimentary Health for over sixteen years.

Before moving to Cornwall in 2004 Penny ran a private practice in Kent and was personal assistant and tutor for the Clinical Hypnosis Institute.

Penny holds membership with the following organisations:

The Hypnotherapy Association
The General Hypnotherapy Register
The Royal Society for the Promotion of Health
She is also listed on the NHS register for alternative and complimentary health.

Her move to Cornwall became a life changing experience. She now runs her own clinical private practice, working both from home and the St George’s Natural Therapy Centre in the city of Truro.

With her vast experience in the field of hypnotherapy, Penny set up the South West School of Clinical Hypnotherapy which has gone from strength to strength.

With her enthusiasm and passion for her work, Penny is now widely recognised as a leading light in the field of clinical hypnotherapy and a sought after practitioner throughout the South west.

Prior to becoming a Hypnotherapist, Penny worked in London in the retail sector as a Senior Merchandiser for leading fashion business.
