After the Certificate Course,
students are required to submit 3 case studies,
ideally: one on Stop Smoking; one on Confidence; one on Weight.
After the Diploma, students are
required to submit 7 case studies (each patient seen twice) on
issues of their choice (obviously using material they have covered
in the diploma)
The supervision groups held are
as follows :
(These consist of approx 5 hours
each day).
Once after the Certificate course
Twice after the Diploma
Once after the Advanced diploma
Once after the Post Graduate
diploma
The supervision is ongoing but
the above is a must for all students.
I also operate a system whereby
if the students need advice on their patients, they contact me
and I give them the necessary advice.
The reading hours are given as
a guideline to students only, however the more reading achieved
the better. A suitable reading list is given
to each student.
The study hours include the case
studies you complete.
